Duke-Butler NCAA Title Game Rare Footage

While I was doing some Google searching over the weekend doing research for the upcoming Blue Devils’ season preview, I stumbled upon this amazing site from a Duke fan who is a very talented photographer. Check out Jeff Trost’s site, The312Hole.com.

When I landed on Jeff’s page, I saw some cool photographs, but what really made me stay was the below video of rarely seen footage from the Duke-Butler title game. From Jeff’s seats across from the Duke bench, you can see the player introductions, the final shot, and much of the postgame celebrations. It really makes you feel like you were in Indianapolis as the action was happening. I’ve already watched this video a few times since finding it Friday, but Jeff says it has only been viewed about 150 times.

this requiem for a dream song is supposed to be for something epic. this is for a basketball game. i know its the championship and i am a huge sports fan but still…this made me laugh. this is only a bball game

Really? Something epic? Like when people are shooting up heroin the song is more applicable? Requim for a dream is a good movie but if you are saying that shooting up heroin is more epic than my Dukies winning it all then you should take the needle out of your arm as well. It was EPIC! It was the championship. I think the song is more appropriate for sports than needles, speed, and a Wayans brother running through an alley after someone got shot in a limo. Just saying…..

Oh wait…fictional movies are more epic than championship games in sports.

    Tony,

I think kkriz was talking about the song Requiem for a Dream, not the movie. Your point still stand though, what happened in that video was epic.

Ah…maybe. My bad if that’s the case. Either way Duke is epic and about to become double epic in the sequal of epicness thanks to Irving, Smith, Singler, and the Bros. Plumlee. GO DUKE!!!
